Arctic to Africa on a bicycle! What a challenge, four and a half thousand miles cycling from Nordkapp the most northern point in Europe through the continent and into North Africa finishing in Ceutra in the summer of 2019. There are five riders who are completing this challenge, in three two-week phases over a period of three years.

As in previous cycling challenges, we are using this opportunity to raise money for a worthy charity Alzheimer Research UK! A charity very close to a lot of the riders hearts.

The challenge began at Midnight 18th of June 2017 in Nordkapp, where we finished the first stage two weeks later in Gothenburg.

Starting in Gothenburg, phase 2 of the trip began in August 2018, finishing two weeks later in Monaco.

It is now time for the final stage, Monaco – Ceutra! Three cyclists Sean, Dave and Paul will set off on tuesday 8th October from where stage 2 ended last year. Keep up to date with Stage 3 blogs here.

As part of our fundraising efforts for Alzheimer’s Research UK, we have created The Great Nidd Bike Ride.

This event is a chance for you to do something in aid of Alzheimer’s Research UK. Taking place in September each year, the Great Nidd Bike Ride takes place in North Yorkshire, starting and finishing at Birstwith (Near Harrogate); following the River Nidd going through various Nidderdale villages such as Summerbridge, Pateley Bridge, Lofthouse, Fearby (Near Masham), Kirby Malzard and Studley Roger.
