The Great Nidd Bike Ride

Thank You to everyone who took part in our 2017 Great Nidd Bike Ride and Ball 2017! We now have full details on the 2018 event!

Challenge yourself and raise money for Alzheimer’s Research UK.

A 50 or 68-mile bike ride starting from The Station Hotel Birstwith and following the River Nidd up the valley through Darley, Summerbridge, Pateley Bridge to Lofthouse.

The route then goes over the top to Fearby near Masham where there will be lunch refreshments, then heading back via Kirby Malzard, Studley Roger, Markington then back to Birstwith. There will be refreshments along the route, lunch provided and cakes at the end!

Info for Riders

Taking place on Saturday the 15th September 2018 commencing at 08:00hrs. The bike ride takes you through the beautiful countryside of Nidderdale, an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Entrants must be a minimum of 16 years of age. Technical support will be available throughout the route and there will be first aid support.

Cycle helmets must be worn!

There is an extended route for club riders of 68 miles which includes more hills including Cote de Greenhow!

There will be a stop at 12 miles, Lunch at 25 Miles 2nd stop at 37 miles and cakes at the finish.

You will be raising funds for Alzheimer Research UK.
